Who is it for
These workshops are for any staff who move and handle inanimate loads,
to ensure their health and safety in the workplace, including new staff
on induction programmes, or existing staff who need regular refreshers.
The workshops will be designed to meet the specific needs of your organisation.
They will include the theoretical component and usually some practical
components. The recommended maximum is 12 delegates.
Course delivery
All Moving and Handling sessions are delivered by a Registered Clinician
who is fully qualified in Moving and Handling. The course will be highly
interactive, encouraging participation and making use of exercises, discussions
and group work. There will be the opportunity for skills practice and
review in each section.
Course materials
Delegates will be given handouts and worksheets to support the topics
covered on the workshop, certificates of attendance.
