The aim of this module is to enable you to record your daily tasks.

Delegates should feel confident in the topics covered in the Microsoft Outlook Getting Started with Email module.

Learning outcomes
At the end of the module, you will be able to:
• Navigate the screen elements in the calendar window to investigate the most effective way to select commands and features
• Create calendar items adding different entries, e.g. meetings, appointments and events, to ensure effective use of calendar features
• Manage calendar items by editing, tracking meetings and removing items to keep the calendar up to date
• View calendar items using filtering options to show certain days or specific items for effective calendar summaries
• Demonstrate use of other features by setting defaults using dragging options and shortcuts to employ efficient use of time-saving features
• Create tasks managing their frequency and category to ensure effective time management
• Manage tasks by assigning, responding and marking as complete to ensure they are up to date when printing by category or deadline
• Create notes for sending as e-mail, or placing on the desktop and save in an appropriate location
