Microsoft Word 2007 Formatting, Bullets and Numbering

1.5 hours

Course overview
At the end of the module, you will be able to:
• Investigate and use different indent features to change left and right indents and create hanging indents, both from the keyboard and using the toolbar, to improve the layout and readability of text
• Design and create a bulleted list selecting from the bullet styles available, to display the list in a clear and concise manner
• Apply numbering to an existing list controlling the 'start at' number and format to present instructions in a logical sequence
• Create a list using outline numbering - entering text requiring different numbering levels and selecting a number style to enable easy reorganisation of the various levels
• Practice using AutoFormat to add numbers and bullets as you type to reduce the need for customised styles
