Course overview
This course is aimed at website developers who need to let others update
web page content with Macromedia Contribute. It covers the techniques
required to grant or withhold editing permissions for contributors, and
how you website structure can be hidden or exposed as required. Discussion
of how website design strategies can help is included, but if your site
already exists, then this course will let you enable contributors to keep
their designated pages fresh without damaging the overall site structure.
Who should attend
A good understanding of website design and structure is required to get
the most from this course. You should understand the role of HTML structures
such as tables, and the part played by style sheets, code libraries, Javascript
and page templates in site design. Your site does not need to use Dreamweaver
to make use of Contribute.
