Learning outcomes
By the end of the course participants will be able to:

• Understand the increasing rate of change
• Identify the necessity for change in any organisation
• Understand the implications of change on people
• Assess the implications of change and the amount of resistance which they are likely to meet
• Plan changes to minimise the negative effects

Training style
The course is participative and involves group discussions, case studies and theoretical input.

Course contents
Some of the areas contained:

Analysis of how the rate of change has speeded up during the past forty years
• Look at the reasons for this both external and internal
• Examine the effects of this on people and their motivation
• Examine ways of introducing change that will lower the amount of resistance to change and/or will support people through change
• Planning change positively
