Introduction
What will we cover today?
Why project management skills are important ones to have
Project Management Principles
What is a project?
The 4 stages of a project and the activities that happen at each stage
As a group you will work with the templates and tools
through each of the 4 stages to deliver a course project
Stage 1
Create a Project Initialisation Document

Stage 2
Design a "Project Deliverable" and
develop a schedule and resource plan.
Present design to stakeholders and answer questions on your project
ready for approval
Stage 3
Develop your design, communicating and working
as a team to deliver the project within the constraints of the project management
triangle
Stage 4
Deliver your project to the stakeholders and collect lessons learnt
and snagging items still to be resolved
Action Plans
At the end, create a learning log to ensure the work you have done is
carried forward into the workplace
