By the end of this course delegates will be able to:

• Define what influencing means and the principles involved in applying influencing skills at work.

• Analyse your present level of influence at work and describe the factors which assist or hinder your ability to influence other people effectively

• Recognise the various sources of power you and others possess and how these can be developed.

• Recognise the basic behavioural style humans' display and how to move towards a more assertive influencing style.

• Apply the basic techniques and strategies required for principled influencing in a range of work situations.
