Alpha Training is recognised as an Investor in People organisation. We were first awarded IiP status in 2002, and successfully reviewed in 2008.

Anne Harkness, who founded Alpha Training in 1987, said: “Our business is all about people development. We work alongside organisations to equip their staff with the skills they need to do
a great job. We felt it was important we could demonstrate our commitment to developing our own team and IiP has helped us
to do that.

"I would definitely recommend IiP to other businesses. It’s a great way to increase employee involvement in achieving business strategy."

"For our customers, it’s a guarantee of the highest possible level
of service; from booking a course with us, to working with an appropriately skilled and motivated trainer."

"Our last IiP assessment highlighted that we have 'absolute commitment to the development of people’ and that we have ‘structured and effective communication processes, which create an informed and committed workforce.'"

The Investors in People Standard is based on three key principles:

Plan – Developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation

Do – Taking action to improve the performance of the organisation

Review – Evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation.

"I booked a Presentation Skills course for myself
and a number of colleagues to be
held offsite. Alpha training was very helpful and answered any queries that
we had very quickly. Everyone thought
the course was excellent
