Here at Alpha Training we care about people – our clients and our staff are all treated as individuals.

Alpha training has been formally recognised as an Investor in People organisation. We were first awarded IiP status in 2002, and successfully reviewed twice, in 2005 and January 2009.

Anne Harkness, who founded Alpha Training in 1987, said: "Our business is all about people development. We work alongside organisations to equip their staff with all the skills they need to do a great job. It is crucial thay we can demonstrate our commitment to developing our own team and IiP has helped us to do that".

"I would definately recommend IiP to other businesses. It's a great way to increase employee involvement in building business strategy."

"For our customers, it’s a guarantee of the highest possible level of service; from booking a course with us, to working with an appropriately skilled and motivated trainer."

In our latest review our IiP Assessor highlighted that:

“There is great pride amongst people in the work they do and a willingness to learn, develop and use new skills and knowledge.”

“Staff and associates display real passion and genuine commitment to their work.”

“Alpha’s associates have a good understanding of client needs and their culture and therefore deliver a better quality of service and training."

The Investors in People Standard is based on
three key principles:

Plan – Developing strategies to improve the performance of the organisation

Do – Taking action to improve the performance of the organisation

Review – Evaluating the impact on the performance of the organisation.
