Bookings
Please contact our course administrators with your requirements
- telephone 020 8658 6994 or email admin@alphatraining.com. Once
a course is arranged, you will receive a booking confirmation. You
should check the details carefully, sign and return the form within
three working days.
Course suitability
It is the client's responsibility to ensure that the course is suitable
for the delegate's requirements. Alpha Training accepts no liability
in the event that the content of the course does not meet the client's
or the delegate's requirements.
Course fees
Course fees include training by an appropriate qualified trainer,
course materials and a certificate of attendance for each delegate.
Half days are usually charged at 75% of the full day fee. Discounts
are available for long term contracts, multiple bookings, and for
non profit making organisations.
Expenses
Travel outside the M25 area will be charged at 40p per mile or standard
second class rail fare. Overnight accommodation and meals will only
be charged with prior agreement.
Payment
For established clients an invoice will be issued on completion
of the course and full payment is due within 30 days of the invoice
date. Alpha Training reserves the right to charge statutory interest
on late payment. For new clients payment is required upfront.
Cancellation
A signed booking confirmation constitutes a contract with Alpha
Training. Cancellations must be made in writing at least 21 days
prior to the start of the course. Otherwise Alpha Training reserves
the right to charge a cancellation fee, based on the full course
fee, of 50% with 15-21 days notice, and 100% with 0-14 days notice.
Course materials
It is acknowledged that all intellectual property rights, including
copyright, patents, design rights and know how in or relating to
the course or course material provided or made available in connection
with the course, remain the sole property of Alpha Training unless
otherwise stated, and no copies may be made of course materials
unless expressly agreed in writing by Alpha Training.
Course times
Courses will start promptly at the agreed time. Delegates must ensure
they arrive in good time. If they have missed a substantial portion
of the course they may be turned away at the discretion of the trainer.
Rescheduled courses
In extreme circumstances it may be necessary for Alpha Training
to reschedule a course upon which has been booked. If rescheduled
dates of the course are not convenient, Alpha Training's liability
will be limited to a refund of the fees paid.
Onsite courses
Where a course is provided onsite it is the client's responsibility
to provide a training room that is free from interruption, with
projector, whiteboard, flipchart and marker pens as a minimum. For
Information Technology training, computers with the appropriate
software installed should also be provided for each delegate and
the trainer, and a printer if possible.
Clients should take all reasonable steps to safeguard
the staff or representatives of Alpha Training when on their premises,
as well as any property brought onto the premises for the purpose
of providing the course.
Offsite courses
Where a closed course is provided offsite by Alpha Training it is
the responsibility of the client to communicate any special requirements
in writing to Alpha Training prior to the event. The course fee
will include the hire of the room for the duration of the course.
Where the provision of computer and AV equipment and lunch is optional
this is to be agreed between the client and Alpha Training at the
time of booking.
Public courses
Where a person is booked on a public course it is the responsibility
of the client to communicate any special requirements in writing
to Alpha Training prior to the event. All delegates are required
to comply with health and safety arrangements. For full day courses
lunch is provided for each delegate.
