Alpha Training has been collaborating with clients in the Healthcare Sector for over 25 years. We provide tailored courses in Information Technology, Management Development and Personal Effectiveness. 

We have delivered a wide range of training to management, clinical and support staff, and have developed an excellent understanding of the challenges facing staff, and the specialist environment in which they work.  This is reflected in our training materials and practical exercises.  Clients include Bromley Healthcare, Kent & Medway NHS, and Lewisham and Greenwich NHS.

Bromley Healthcare

Alpha Training has worked in partnership with Bromley Healthcare since 2001, developing and delivering a wide range of bespoke courses in Leadership and Management, Personal Effectiveness, and Information Technology.

We successfully deliver around 40 courses to around 400 clinical and non-clinical staff each year. Courses range from 1.5 hours to 5 days including classroom courses, one to one coaching, and presentations, as well as online learning, blended and e-learning solutions. Course materials include pre-course and post-course activities such as questionnaires, learning contracts, case studies, videos etc.

Alpha Training communicates regularly with Bromley Healthcare’s Learning & Development team to ensure we keep up-to-date with their business developments and plans, that we incorporate their competency frameworks, behaviour charters, and policies into our programmes, and that the learning events we deliver meet, and exceed, their expectations.

Leadership and Management, and Personal Effectiveness skills courses include Appraiser Skills, Appraisee Skills, Assertiveness, Developing People, Difficult Conversations, Interview Skills, Managing People, Managing Change, Moving into Leadership, Notes and Minute Taking, PA Development, Presentation Skills, Prioritising/Time Management, Project Management, Recruitment and Selection, Report Writing, Team Working, Trainer Training.

Information Technology courses cover Microsoft Office - Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Word. In addition to delivering business as usual courses we have assisted with Microsoft Office upgrades, mobile technology rollouts, and also provided VBA development.

Alpha Training has developed a consultative relationship with Bromley Healthcare and in addition to delivering training, we have also helped develop a new approach to appraisal and played a significant role in training needs analysis exercises.
